Belur High School is one of the well-known Government Sponsored Higher Secondary schools in the Howrah district. This educational institution is affiliated to West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal. It imparts education to boys only in the Upper Primary and Secondary Sections, and to both boys and girls in the Higher Secondary section. This educational institution was co-founded by reverend Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar in 1855.

By now, I assume you are old enough to explore things or phenomena intuitively. You have teachers to shape these up more comprehensively. I suggest you always come up with a question to your beloved teacher. Learn to teach yourselves; and rest assured, you’ll be taught best. As a learner, you should embark on the journey of experience or realization on your own. Let your teacher guide you only when you are troubled with not finding an answer or a way out. And remember, listening is one of the foremost skills of learning. So, listen to your heart and soul as you learn!

এখন পর্যন্ত, আমি ধরে নিচ্ছি যে তুমি আপনাআপনি বা স্বজ্ঞাতভাবে কোনো জিনিস বা ঘটনা অন্বেষণ করার জন্য যথেষ্ট বড়ো হয়ে উঠেছো। অর্থাৎ তোমার নিজস্ব দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি বা পর্যবেক্ষণ ক্ষমতা তৈরি হয়েছে। তোমার এই পর্যবেক্ষণগুলি আরও ব্যাপক ও গভীরভাবে গঠন করার জন্য তোমার শিক্ষক আছেন। আমি তোমাকে সবসময় তোমার প্রিয় শিক্ষকের কাছে তোমার মনের প্রশ্নটি উত্থাপন করার পরামর্শ দেবো। নিজেকে শেখাতে শেখো; এবং জেনো, যে নিজেকে শেখায় সেই সবচেয়ে ভালো শেখে। একজন শিক্ষার্থী হিসাবে তোমার নিজের অভিজ্ঞতা বা উপলব্ধির চর্চা তোমাকে নিজেকেই শুরু করতে হবে। যখন তুমি কোন উত্তর বা উপায় খুঁজে না পেয়ে উদ্বিগ্ন হবে, কেবলমাত্র তখনই তোমার শিক্ষকের কাছ থেকে পরামর্শ নাও। এবং মনে রেখো, শোনা শেখার অন্যতম প্রধান দক্ষতা। সুতরাং, শেখার সাথে সাথে হৃদয় এবং আত্মার কথাও শুনতে ভুলো না!
